Much of our success lies in our association with world-class brands, such as Nestlé (Switzerland), Kimberly-Clark
(United States of America), Unilever (UK-Netherlands), Barilla (Italy), Fromageries Bel (France), Ceres Fruit Juices
Pty Ltd (South Africa), just to name a few.
To store and distribute our large range of locally produced and imported products, we rely on our high-tech storage
facilities and distribution fleet.
Warehousing facilities
A large portion of the company's consumer goods transit through the warehouses of the Group at the Mauritius Freeport
Development in the harbour area. Innodis has secured about 2,000 pallet positions for the storage of its consumer goods,
and about 2,500 positions for frozen goods, spread over a total surface area of some 3,000 m2. Our products are handled
by trained personnel, using modern racks and handling equipment.
Some of our imported frozen products, such as beef and mutton under Premier™ brand and sea-food products under our Marina™
brand are reconditioned and packed in secure temperature-controlled rooms in our warehouses prior to distribution to
supermarkets and retail outlets.
The packing section is currently working on HACCP certification.
Distribution fleet
Innodis owns a fleet of more than 130 vehicles, most of which consisting of modern lorries and trucks, many equipped
with refrigeration engines and used for the distribution of our frozen foods, consumer goods, chicken and dairy products.
We also have a number of tractors and trailers dedicated to our poultry operations.
In order to service, maintain and repair this large number of vehicles, we have our own garages at our various production
sites, where we employ full-time mechanics.
An action plan has been earmarked for the next few years to ensure the continued reliability and efficiency of our fleet.
This plan includes the replacement of ageing vehicles, the review of drivers recruitment policy/training, and other
cost-saving measures.
