Often coined (and rightly so) as a distributor of world-class brands, the activities of Innodis actually span much further.
In fact, a significant portion of our know-how rests in our own manufacturing activities, which, together with our poultry
processing operations, make up our core business.
Over the years, our focused efforts have made us a key player in the yoghurt, ice cream, and milk industries.
Ice Cream
Production of Impulse range
Our ice-cream range alone has grown significantly over the years, with a large variety of products distributed under the
Dairymaid™ brand, including the popular Master-T, Olé,
Chocstick, Tamarino, Red Devil, Velvet Dream, as well as the more
recently introduced Kulfi ice-cream.
We also distribute our ice-cream in 0.5L to 5L tubs under our sub-brand Treat™ and our flagship sub-brand Ice Dream™,
which sells under a wide range of flavors such as Vanilla (with Chocolate coated honeycomb pieces), Blueberry & Cheesecake,
Caramel (with peanuts and chocolate sauce), Creamy Vanilla, Vanilla with Strawberry Fruit Ripple, Vanilla (classic), Chocolate
(classic), Almond (classic), Coffee (classic), just to name a few.

Yoghurt and Sterilised Milk
In addition to ice-cream, we are the second biggest distributor of yoghurt products in Mauritius under our umbrella brand,
Dairyvale™. These include our large range of probiotic yoghurt, our Kick Start™ products, and our recently introduced dahi
drink, distributed under our sub-brand Lait Caillé aux probiotiques™.
We also distribute milk under our brands
Twin Cows™ and
Island Dairy™ and flavored milk under our
Olé™ brand.
Juices
In addition to our imported juices under our flagship brand Ceres™, our factory also produces Ceres Nectar under licence from
Ceres Fruit Juices Pty Ltd (South Africa).
We have chosen the favourite tropical fruit flavours of our consumers for our locally produced juice, such as Guava Surprise,
Mystic Pear, Peach Melba, Mangopine, etc. The manufacturing of these juices is carried out under strict conditions and
guidelines from Ceres South Africa.
We will also be launching new juice products in the future.
Rice Milling
Located in the Trianon area on a 2-Acre plot of land, Peninsula Rice Milling Co. Ltd (PRM) started its operations in October 2004.
It is mainly involved in importing raw de-husked rice from India and Pakistan for a three-stage processing, packaging and sales
to the Distribution Centre of Innodis Ltd. Our annual plant milling throughput is 12,000MT on a single shift with a total of 15
members of staff. Sophisticated japanese technology has been utilised for the plant. The efficiency of the processing line is
estimated at 95%.
Most of the PRM basmati rice production is sold locally, but we have also started to extend sales to Reunion and Madagascar.
The brands marketed by PRM are Rimilda, Rozana and Duchesse, in various pack sizes to suit the needs of the market. The
two former brands are considered to be the middle to upper tier brands.
In 2010, an agreement was reached between PRM and Green Island Rice Ltd, a company incorporated to dehusk, mill and sell
hybrid and non-hybrid locally grown rice in the Mauritian and overseas markets. This agreement provides for the setting up
of a joint venture company, namely Green Island Milling Ltd, to which our plant has been transferred.
The factory will be partly used for milling the locally grown low GI rice of Green Island Rice Ltd as from 2012.
